She worked at Birmingham Children’s Hospital for 8 years, gaining a broad range of paediatric experience before being promoted within the Paediatric Orthopaedic and Musculoskeletal team. Heather’s final role at BCH was to work as an Extended Scope Practitioner within the Orthopaedic Team, assessing and diagnosing toddlers and children referred to Orthopaedic Consultants due to concerns regarding their walking pattern or because of musculoskeletal symptoms.

Since 2005, Heather has primarily worked for the NHS within the community as a highly skilled children’s physiotherapist experienced in managing babies and children referred with developmental delay, neurological, musculoskeletal and rheumatological conditions.
