Welcome to The Cloisters and to the terrific team of people who work here. I have worked at The Cloisters for many years and was delighted to be able to take on the business when the former owner, Ruth Cowan, decided to retire completely. At The Cloisters we aim to provide the highest quality experience to all our patients from the moment they walk into Reception to the completion of their treatment. We are a Clinic that focuses on hands-on treatment accompanied by clear explanations of the problem as we see it and how we intend to address it. This will be backed up by advice on self-management and home exercise, where appropriate.

Early in my career I developed an interest in treating spinal pain and I have also developed expertise in conditions not always associated with Physiotherapy – for example, headaches and dizziness are conditions that can respond to Physiotherapy treatment.
