Silvia Riscazzi

I was born in Italy, where I played volleyball for more than 20 years. I graduated in Physiotherapy at the University of Parma and worked for almost 10 years in private settings, treating patients with MSK conditions and also working with neurological patients at their homes. I worked in partnership with high-level rugby and volley clubs.

I am also a member of The Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP) and trained in the use of acupuncture for MSK conditions. Based on scientific research, acupuncture is very effective in treating soft tissue conditions, acute pain, inflammation and muscle stiffness. I also use electroacupuncture which enhances the acupuncture effects using electricity applied to the needles at appropriate frequencies and intensity. 

In 2015 I moved with my family to Boston, USA, where I worked as physiotherapist assistant for two years. In 2020 I moved to the UK, where I am keen to help many other patients. I have two children, and I love the beautiful UK countryside.
