Meet the team

BSc (Hons.) Health Sciences Grad. Dip. Phys MCSP

I have been qualified for over thirty years and spent ten years working in the NHS before joining The Cloisters. Whilst working as a Senior Physiotherapist in Coventry, I began to specialise in lower limb injuries, biomechanical issues and rehabilitation. I have continued to develop my knowledge and understanding of complex lower limb dysfunction and in particular sports injuries resulting from overuse. I have also gained a great deal of experience treating patients following hip, knee and ankle surgery and continue to see Post Op patients in the clinic for rehab. I spent 6 years working for the English Women’s Golf Association alongside very experienced England Golf coaches, looking at performance enhancement, injury prevention and sports screening. During this time, I gained a great deal of golf related experience and I am happy to treat golf related injuries.

During the 25 years I have worked at the Cloisters I have gained valuable experience treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions and although I have a special interest in treating lower limb injuries, I also enjoy treating spinal conditions. I recently completed the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI) mat-work level 1 and 2 Pilates, which I incorporate into my treatment plans and I currently teach a Rehab Pilates class for patients with back pain once a week.
