Denise Cole

Mindfulness Now Practitioner and Mindfulness Based Clinical Hypnotherapist

More about me

If you’re struggling with life’s challenges or trying to make better choices but keep falling back into old habits, then mindfulness and/or hypnotherapy may be of benefit.
Mindfulness is a key component of the therapy I offer. It can be a wonderful way to relax and regular practice can reduce stress, anxiety, depression and also improve physical well-being by reducing pain, improving quality of sleep.
Hypnosis is often misunderstood and is ‘in fact’ a natural state, often associated with relaxation. In hypnotherapy, I use hypnosis with psychotherapy techniques and sometimes mindfulness to bring about permanent change. Hypnotherapy can help with many issues including anxiety, panic attacks, phobias, weight management and quitting smoking. The number of sessions needed may vary but for some, as little as one or two sessions can be all it takes.
I offer an ’8 week’ Mindfulness Now course for individuals and small groups. Shorter bespoke courses are available on request.
All hypnotherapy sessions are one to one.
Please get in touch to discuss your needs.

Christine Frey

Health Coach, Counsellor, Mindfulness Teacher

More about me

I work with women at midlife to revive or restore their physical, emotional and mental health.
Years of putting the needs of others first and keeping everyone else well means women often arrive at midlife exhausted, unwell or just plain stuck. But whichever part of your life is not working – your mind (thoughts and beliefs, stress, anxiety), your body (health, weight, sleep, menopause) or your lifestyle (habits, stale relationship, unfulfilling job, lack of purpose) a part of you knows that now is the time you have to put yourself first, midlife has to be ‘your time’.

As a certified Health Coach, BACP registered Counsellor and Mindfulness teacher my approach is truly holistic and based on the principles of Lifestyle Medicine. I can offer you the time and space to take a breath, take stock and explore what you want, what ‘your needs’ really are. We then work together to create a vision for the future life you want, and explore how to cultivate the mind, body and spirit you need to live it. Working at a pace which is right for you, I support and encourage you to make sense of the present and make a plan for the future that is achievable for you. Working together to overcome any barriers which have prevented you from being successful in the past we can quickly get you on the path to becoming a healthier, happier midlife version of you.

Contact me for a complimentary 30-minute Midlife Health and Wellness review and discover what’s possible. I offer one-to-one sessions, group coaching, group mindfulness and health and wellness talks.

Sue Leatherdale

Esscentials Aromatherapy & Reflexology

More about me

The healing powers of touch and smell, as therapies, are something I truly believe in.
This belief led me to study for my Diplomas in both Aromatherapy and Reflexology in the late 1990s, and I have been
practicing ever since. I am a member of both the International Federation of Aromatherapists (IFA), and the British
Reflexology Association (BRA).
I have worked as part of the team of dedicated professionals at The Cloisters since 1998. Further CPD training
means I also offer support including care in Pregnancy, for Fertility, Cancer care, MS and working in a care home
environment. I have seen changes in both disciplines in terms of teaching, training and practice, and in
Aromatherapy there is now an even greater choice of essential oils to work with.
Both therapies are gentle and safe to use with clients of all ages, and with a very wide variety of needs. They provide
nurture and comfort and the greatest compliment to me is when a client falls asleep during a treatment as then I
know they have relaxed. We rarely give ourselves permission to switch off, and particularly not with someone else
present. This level of relaxation and trust is the first step and provides essential relief and access to deal with many
underlying conditions.
I work in Leamington Spa, Kenilworth and Coventry. Over the years I have frequently worked with clients who are
experiencing fertility challenges and with mums-to-be. This is an area I love. I am a founding member of the
Warwickshire Pregnancy and Birth Network www.pregnancyandbirthnetwork.co.uk and regularly work with other
holistic therapists in this sensitive area.

More about me

Are you struggling to cope with your thoughts and feelings?
If so, here are 3 examples of ways my sessions can help you.

  • Help you understand the root cause so that any solution to help you, will be sustainable.
  • Discuss and implement tools to support you beyond our sessions.
  • Help you to understand how the mind, body, spirit and environment all impact on our wellbeing.

The way I work involves a holistic, integrative and person specific model for counselling.

My approach takes into account psychological theories and approaches, for example person-centred, psychodynamic and CBT as well as other disciplines, such as nutrition, and new sciences that explain the human condition, for example, psychoneuroimmunology and epigenetics. No two individuals are the same, therefore, I adapt sessions to the individual taking the journey, because there is no ‘one size fits all’.

Dr Rita Squarza

Counselling Psychologist, Integrative Body Psychotherapist, Certified Transactional Analyst (CTA)

More about me

Certified Transactional Analyst (CTA) – Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP)
I am highly trained, qualified and licensed clinical psychologist-psychotherapist with over 20 years’ experience of working in the field of psychology and neuroscience, helping adults and young adults with a variety of life's challenges, including personality and brain disorders.
After many years of clinical work in hospitals and clinics overseas, I have a private practice at The Cloisters Physiotherapy Clinic where I specialise in the treatment of anxiety disorder.
My way of working is theoretically underpinned in Integrative Psychotherapy and
Transactional Analysis and is rooted in research fields in neuroscience. Treatment combines different types of therapy, including body-oriented therapy, practical exercises, and lifestyle adjustments. A special section delves into alternative treatments for anxiety, such as relaxation techniques, autogenic training, bio-energetic exercises that anyone can take and use themselves.
Treatment will be different for each person depending on the type of anxiety disorder they have and the presence of any underlying conditions. Thanks to my intercultural life and work-experiences, I am culturally open and sensitive and I like working with patients from diverse backgrounds and ethnicity. I also offer my professional services to Italian speaking expats, in-person and online.
